Equipment
A certified
CSA Helmet is mandatory for all CHA members (Players, Coaches, Assistant
Coaches and Trainers) on the ice. Certification stickers must still
be attached to the helmet. All helmets must have protective ear
guards properly in place.
Mouth Guards are also mandatory. Failure to comply will can result
in a penalty and removal from the game.

Jerseys
The Association
provides White (Home) and Black (Visitor) jerseys with numbers for
each team, to be returned at the end of each season. These jerseys
cost CHA approximately $2,000 per team.
By following the information below, you can help the association.
Player care of equipment:
- Please be proud of your jerseys and follow these
simple rules for ensuring that CHA always look presentable;
- Sew on any name bar or sponsor bar - do
not iron on
- Wash your jersey regularly in warm water and
hang to dry;
- Never stuff your Canterbury jersey in your bag
to be damaged by your skates;
- Bring your jersey to your games hung in garment
bags;
- Whenever your jersey is damaged during a game
please report this to your team manager;
- At season end: Remove all name bars including
captain "C" & "A". Leave the STOP signs
on jersey. Wash in warm water and hang to dry. Return to the manager
on a wire hanger.
